Any or all of it!
http://www.writing.upenn.edu/~afilreis/88v/america.html
my favorite passages:
I can’t stand my own mind.
America when will we end the human war?
Go fuck yourself with your atom bomb
America why are your libraries full of tears?
Your machinery is too much for me.
America this is quite serious.
America this is the impression I get from looking in the television set.
America is this correct?

Here is one of my poems from back in my college days:
a surreal view of
semi-trucks and steel cars
passing by beyond
fogged glass
temporary images,
flash by,
disappear
gasoline
smoked from pollution pipes
are the only, ghostly
tell-tale traces left behind
of contemporary life
riding the night
tossed and shaken
then destroyed
in the shrill-chill
of the whooshing wind

Nuestras cabezas podrían llenarse con algún material interesante, por que ahora están llenas de aire, moscas muertas y pedazos de pelusa.

One of my favorite Frank Herbert quotes:
“No matter how exotic human civilization becomes, no matter the developments of life and society nor the complexity of the machine/human interface, there always comes interludes of lonely power when the course of humankind, the very future of humankind, depends upon the relatively simple actions of single individuals.”

Hmmm…only 2 months later. Let me know if any of this works or if you’re already done with this project. Wrote this today:
“Bound to Remember”
Faced with a wooden spoon at birth
She came out head-first
By the angles of the splintered wood she
Must have known
This was not to be easy.
Hung upon the cross at five and
Forbidden to pray for those who died
She was taught division in the far
Corner of her mother’s eye.
Her father’s were water,
She could not pray for him, either.
Dunked in some sanctimonious jacuzzi at ten
They bumped her head,
While they absolved her sin
The shine of Sunday shoes curved
Her toes unhealthy, and in, for the rest of time.
At eighteen she ran…
Fast and long, down into the dark-lit city out
over the Mississippi
The bat’s wings of her friends through this lysergic
lens,
(Heathen, a voice said. It was not hers, again)
She had no trajectory, no milestone to educe this from.
and only then
All that she knew was fantastically wrong.
somehow, in that night, she was born again
This too was not to be easy,
But she had been waiting to begin.
